ok so my boyfriend was in an accident a couple months back and the people who were supposed to represent him in court, i guess, didn't show up. well now there's a warrent out for his arrest. is there anyway around that? like if he showed up to court even though it was late or something. those are the only details i know, sorry. any help would be greatly appreciated!

First, even if he had "people who were supposed to represent him" (lawyers?) he should have been there as well. The ticket does not say you or your representative shall appear, it says you.

Since he failed to appear he was found guilty of his tickets. He needs to gather up the money needed to pay the tickets and any late fees etc and go down and pay them. The court clerk should be able to tell him the total. He needs to go down, pay the fines and then see a judge. He should allow a day or two from the time he goes down there to sort stuff out.

Get a lawyer as soon as possible, if he gets stopped, he will be retained and held under arrest for the warrent. Any contact were the police may ask for his I.D. will show the warrent and its jail time.

No.........best thing for him to do is get a lawyer or turn his self in............................
