put your buck into your pocket you wont win but you wont lose.
there is a catch they have to sell a billion tickets to pay 1 million dollor prize
they come out with 20 different games with 20 , 1 million dollor prizes.
the catch is if they sold all billion tickets there would be a million dollor payout but they change the games and take the old games off the market before they sell all of them so you have a less chance in winning a high dollor amount
also what gets me is they say proceeds go to all comon school funds. well then all the kids in school should have a computer at each desk.
save your money in a savings plan $1 a day and make way more profit in the long run off interest with no chance in loseing just gaining and even more the longer you save

As a bit of a gambler, I know that lotteries are designed for those who do not understand math. The odds of scratch tickets so favors the seller, that you will do as well with slots. However, if you keep close tabs on the winners of the largest prizes for a particular scratch game and you find toward the end of its issue that several large prizes have not been claimed, it might be a good idea to invest in a few tix.

Buy lots of them, scratch them off carefully. Be sure you have definitely not won before throwing away a losing ticket.
But there is no magic formula. In the US, you will typically win about one in 3-5. Unfortunately, the most common prize is your money back, which is hardly a great win.

Well, I'm not sure about scratch off, but the chances of winning the Power Ball.... well just so ou can compare the odds, you have a higher chance of crashing and dying in a car accident than winning the lottery.
