Well i would like to think of myself as a christian, yet alot of times i cant make it to church. I wasnt brought up in any kind of religion and am now trying to find what god is all about ive only read some of the bible, and yet ive been to alot of bible studies and i try to go to church as much as i can. The point is just because you go to church doesnt exactly mean you are there for the right reasons. Some one i know goes every sunday just to get out of the house. I believe god just wants you to know hes there and that you keep him in your heart and remember all that he has done for us. Church to me he just an extra special place you go every sunday to get closer to him, yet he always knows your there. As long as he is in your heart it really dosent matter where your feet are.

CHRISTIANS ARE CHRISTIANS NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE .
GOING TO CHURCH DOES NOT MAKE THEM A CHRISTIAN......
GOING TO CHURCH IS THE FELLOWSHIP.....WITH OTHERS.
THE COMING TOGETHER IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO ENTER A CHURCH TO BE A CHRISTIAN.........
WHAT ABOUT ANY ONE PERSON THAT HAS BEEN A CHRISTAN FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS, NOW SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED THAT THEY CAN'T GET TO THE CHURCH..........THAT DOSE NOT MAKE THEM ANY LESS CHRISTAN THAN THEY WERE BEFORE , THE HAPPING THAT MADE IT SO THEY COULD NOT GET TO THE CHURCH. THEY ARE STILL CHRISTIANS,!
GOOD QUESTION

I would pray for them. The Word says to not forsake the gathering of the saints. I would try and minister to them and encourage them. It is the best thing to go to church, but there aren't things you can do to make you 'less of a Christian'.
I think that there is just something they need to know, then they will understand why church is so important.
Take care, God bless

I'm sorry for them since they are missing out on the community that Jesus started. He founded a church that is His Body and continues His mission on earth. Jesus also sais that "Where two or three are gathered, there am I in the midst of them." That is a church since the church is the people not the building.

As a Christian, I don't think it is any of my business. Even the ones who go to church most times do not actually DO what the Bible says so what does it matter?

I think each person has there own personal relationship with God. Just because they don't attend church doesn't make them less of a Christian. I know lots of Christians who worship at home or with friends. We are taught as Christians not to judge, that's for God to do. I mean do you think that because you attend church your closer to God. God knows all and sees all, and he even knows what's in our hearts even when were not at church.

I'm a Christian who doesn't go to church.
After 25 years of religious indoctrination including all the best Christian Schools - daily Bible Classes, daily Chapel Services and three or more times a week at Church Services - I found that the church was beginning to interfere with my spiritual growth and personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

i believe in god but dont believe in going to church. There has been so many wars and so may deaths caused through religion (look at the war that is going on at the moment). They are all a bit hypocritical. I believe evrybody has the right to have their own beliefs and the right to follow that belief in the way they think is right for them.(unless your some crack pot islamic nutter) Personally I don't need to go to church to determine my faith.

There are several things people get from a religion. It satisfies a need for social interaction, it proposes a mythos that promises some kind of eternal life, and it promotes a certain morality or way of thinking. Mostly, it is because they were raised by parents in the religion and they're used to following it.
Some people are hooked on religion more than others. Personally, I have gotten over it completely. It's harder for others to completely let go of religion, so they hold tentatively onto the belief but don't go through the motions as much.
