I got it and I'm up to Captain (lv 31) online, but I have to return my PS3 soon and get another one (why is irrelevant). I wanna know if my online status will remain the same and will I keep my account name....?

i had to do the same thing... i was playing rainbow six vegas when i had to take it back. when i got the new one, my online rank in rainbow six was still there. so it should be still there and yes you will keep your account name. just log in the new ps3 with your id and password you had for the old one.

yes, you can sign in to your account from any ps3 just like a computer when you get e-mail from another computer.
