Hey Hot coco-
Buy the organic chicken and fish from Trader Joe's. I'm not a fan of red meat, so that's what I stick with. You'll benefit in the future years from not having genetically modified, hormone injected, non traditionally fed animals. The majority of farms are out for profit, and the added junk in the meat is the cause of cancer and other illnesses, imo.

I hate the thought of taking tablets all the time so eat meat and fish for a healthy balanced diet.
We are meant to be omnivores due to our dental structure. I cannot see any benefits for not eating meat. Most of the people I know that are vegetarian seem to always be ill?? Something to do with an unbalanced diet?

Ignoring the obvious contrary arguments, you might be best guided by how YOU feel about it!
I am omnivorous through necessity. My family are all omnivorous and I would be causing too many problems by insisting on a vegetarian diet.............and I am comfortable with that!
I happen, also to enjoy vegetarian meals. In my travels around this world of ours, I have had occasion to rely on a purely vegetarian diet.......... and I was comfortable with that!
Neither diet altered my levels of physical well being.
All this trash about a vegetarian diet being healthier is very misleading. I have a friend who makes his living as a vegetarian chef (properly qualified). He tells me that a large proportion of vegetarian meals are, in fact, very fattening!
Diets, whatever their basis, have to be balanced.

i have been a vegetarian for a bout a year, and i lost some extra weight, my cholesterol has dropped, and i feel better knowing i am not eating animals at all.
vitamins and minerals that would normally be found in meats i take in a pill. i have never been healthier.
i would say give it a go and see if you're happy.

i don't see any benefits as such , as veggies die younger than meat eaters.
that, i expect is simlpy becous it takes a lot more work and planning to eat a balanced veg diet than it does to eat anythin going lol.
we wernt born veggies , so i don't see why people bother.
on the moral ground side of it .......if you dont eat meat to save animal suffering ........then i hope you dont wear wool, leather, have old furniture(made with animal glue)take any medication thats been tested on animals(thats loads!!!)keep pets (unatural habitat)visit a zoo or safari park.eat /drink milk, eggs, cheese, butter(think how many foods contain any of them !!!!????)
so ill just carry on munchin me bacon sarnies thanks.
ps.....my ex was a veggie ........since a youngster...she just dont like the taste lol.
each to their own i say , if your happy ,go for it .

there are no benefits from excluding all natural foods from the diet. by reducing the number of foods in your diet it will now take more effort to ensure that you are getting a full spectrum of macro and micronutrients in on a daily basis.

There are important nutrients you can only get in meat.
Personally, I like the taste of meats.

nothing but a moral high ground from which you can demean others.
The cons are that you'll probably become anaemic due to a lack of iron in your blood.
