Since the beginning of September I have been having like fuzzy vision. The best way I found to describe it is if you go to Photoshop and use the Noise filter, that's what I see...its like a fuzzy screen over my vision...its not a major problem, but it gets annoying. I still see in the same clarity and my prescription is fine I still see everything, its just this like fuzzy screen over my vision. What's wrong? Should I see an optomologist?

I did go the day after it started...I told my regular family doctor when I was in about OCD and anxiety, he told my I was a hypochondriac.

One possibility, only a possibility, is problems at the macula.

This would need a retinal inspection to confirm or eliminate.
A clue and evidence that can be presented to a doctor, (but no substitute for seeing one!) can come from checking your central eyesight for distortion on an Amsler grid.

On-line examples and further information about macular problems can be found at the URL below.

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/0M425
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

I just went to the opthomologist yesterday with a similar problem. I was frightened because I have diabetes and that causes eye problems. Turns out it is a problem of the macular - it actually has a wrinkled surface. Please go check it out....

Yes you need to see an opthomologist. Why have you waited this long??? You might have done permanent damage by not getting it checked out sooner. Call ASAP and get seen.
