do u connect it to severe cases of depression? or immaturity? or just being more knowledgeable than others?

Narcissism. Characterized mainly be the need to be special. Especially good or especially bad. I'm God's chosen one. I see things better than other people. My opinions are more important than other peoples, etc. Born from parent's failure to make them feel special when they were young. Google NPD(narcissistic personality disorder).
