I doubt it, considering they're more concerned with wiping the primordial ooze off of their nose just then...

Jerry said, "You are sooo good looking."
Matter bless itself. You want to do someone a favor after sneezing, hand them a tissue or tell them that they'll be in your thoughts "Are you getting a cold? Here's a tissue, I hope you get to feeling better." Don't appeal to things that don't exist or do, I don't care. At least it means that you mean well.
Edit: I was wrong, I agree with Ideogenetic, it is kinda rude to comment on someone else's sneeze.

good question. I wonder what atheists mean when they say they are "enthusiastic" since the word means "full of God" mabey they mean they are full of primordial ooze

LOL! That's funny!
I think a simple "Bless you" is the most appropriate response. Then the sneezer can chose which type of blessing they would like.

In case you were trying to make me laugh, you succeeded. You can be really funny when you are not insulting people straight to their faces
Oh and to answer your question ... in my country we say "good luck" when someone sneezes, and if I'm somewhere else I do say "god bless you"

positive; I say notwithstanding takes my fancy cos i'm able to get away with it. I stay in Australia = the land of the extremely loose. when I do the 'bless you' thingie i flow into paroxyms of mirth internally. ~
