so far I've lost approximately 37kg (~81.4 lbs) and intending to lose 30 more to get below 10% body fat. I am at 23% now.
my question is simple. which is better for me , I know juice is ,obviously, since its all natural stuff . but 1cal vs 150?

Edit: Diet coke has Aspartame instead of sugar, its an artificial sweetner.

I say it is diet coke. Diet soda does not have added sugar nor does orange juice. Also neither one has fat in it. So get those thoughts out of your head in doing the comparison. The extra calories in orange juice will make you gain an added 16 pounds each year.

Most of the OJ you get from the store is reconstituted from concentrate or has some horrible-tasting artificial preservative added and is very acidic also. I used to drink it by the gallon till I smartened up.

you are very right. juice is very good for you but diet coke is still soda and it still has calories and sugar which is a type of fat. also, juice has citric acid that is good for your body and it helps heal cuts and other injuries. so definatly the juice would be better for losing 30lbs and coke wouldnt help lose that and it may taste good but look if you dont trust me, look at the label on the can of soda and if one of the first 11 ingretiants are sodium or suger or any other fat, then go with the juice but im saying juice will get you an A!!!!

are you asking what has less calories or what gives you nutrients you need?

that 1 cal in diet coke is an empty calorie, the 150 in teh orange juice carries Vit C and others and is part of your food intake, the diet coke is water, so are you intaking part of your food stuffs? or just wanting to be less thirsty?

ps , diet colas and other drinks can depending on your mood either fill you up ( if you drink LOTS at once) or make you hunger ( if you just drink a lil)

Diet Coke.

Orange juice has a lot of sugars, natural and artificial, which turn into fat and stick.

If you're trying to lose weight, cutting out soda would be a great way to go.
