We have flirted with each other a lot recently while we were out - he pulls me in for cheek kisses, long romantic hugs, tells me i'm amazing and we chat a lot.
But the last couple of times we've chatted online - not face to face - he's mentioned stuff about his gf. I can't work out whether he's trying to get a reaction out of me or whether he genuinely likes her and is warding me off. Or neither of those!
But I can't just forget it because I know how we are as soon as we see each other in person - its electric. Should I say anything to him?

i would suggest not doing anything and see if he and his girlfriend break up --- if he is willing to cheat on her he will cheat on you --- best wishes
