my mother always watches her on tv, and i always wondered why she believes all of what slyvia says...i just dont think that there is any logic in what she says...do u agree with me, why or why not?

1. I do not believe Sylvia Brown is a psychic. She has been disproved many times. 2. I do believe she has an unbelievable ability to read people and that is what makes her appear to have special "powers". I find it fascinating to watch.
If you are desperate for answers that you will never get, then you will accept anything she says because it provides you with solace and comfort. You will find your truth in what she says.

I believe that everyone has the ability to be psychic. Most people just don't know it or even use it. Since I don't personally know Sylvia, I can't confirm whether she is truly using this part of her brain or if she is full of bologna, but don't let someone's lack of convincing make you a skeptic.
Usually, what you should look for in a psychic is someone who can give specifics. Generalties won't work. Let me give you an example:
A friend of mine was murdered in a hotel room. No one knew who did it or why. We all assumed it was drug related since my friend is a prominent drug dealer in the community. When I heard he had been murdered, I started getting very faint visions. I wrote everthing I was seeing and feeling down. I saw a dark colored Chevy Impala, or Monte Carlo, maybe a black or charcoal grey. I saw a black man with a square jawline and an unusual haircut. I also kept thinking of the name James.
A couple days later, I read an article in the paper stating that a man had been arrested under suspicion for this crime. He was driving a dark grey Chevy Impala.
The mugshots of all persons involved were posted online. Sure enough, the person suspected of shooting my friend was a black man, with a square jawline, and unusual haircut. I had even drew a picture that was similar.
He also had a partner by the name of James.

Well I must admit, I was actually hopeful that she was legit because Montel swears up and down that she is. But since I am unable to verify most of what she says (since she gives readings to crowds of people I don't know), I have to base my opinion of her on one of her of "so called" predictions that DID NOT come true:
Earlier this year, she not only predicted that Jennifer Lopez could not (or would not) get pregnant by Marc Anthony, but that they would eventually split. Of course, with J.Lo's history with men, they could still possibly split. But news is, she's preggers in a major way! So, I guess Slyvia is a big, fat phony!!!

They did a story about her on Dateline and found out shes a hoax thats after money. They wanted to charge this couple 4,000 to find her son. How sad is that? I'm a pyschic and I'm not getting the same reading as her. She is nothing but a hoax.

some of the things she says about the spirit world do make sense to me. but i don't follow psychics. i follow my own spiritual beliefs. and she tells you to do that in every book she writes. she's not forcing anyone to believe her. it's up to the people. but i guess none of this would matter to a person who doesn't believe in anything supernatural so i guess a person like that would automatically think she's full of it...

Personally, I like her. She has helped law enforcement too ya know......so, you believe what you want. But instead of just hearing her on Montel and judging her, you should do some research to make sure you know what you're talking about.
