If any antisemit would actually answer me that would be great ... maybe there's a reason and I don't see it (though that's not probable, but I am open to hear)

No, I'm not jewish, but I am in contact with a lot of jewish people (in real life I mean) and most of those that I met are great people, and I can't understand why people hate them so much. They are normal people!

$$$OUTCA, if people would hate them for the reason you said, then why only them? Jewish people have a different reputation than muslims for example

I don't have anything against Jews, although I wish more people would point out that Jews weren't the only ones killed in the Holocaust.

Anti semites are against both Jews and Arabs.

The fact that the roman church (and many other christians) have preached about how evil jews are for the last 1500 years or so could have some influence.
Also many people see the happenings in Palestine and blame the troubles on the Jews who have and still are stealing land from the Arabs.
Sadly most westeners block all jews as the same just as they do with all muslims.

Though you wanted an anti-semite to respond to your question I felt it was compelling. And I am going to try to answer it as best I know how. The people who hate Jews or those of jewish ancestry are the people who don't really understand that Jesus was a Jew. They think that Christ was a Christian. For some reason it does not quite complete the circuit when their reasoning or trying to figure out why Christ was killed.

Christ did not die because he was jewish. Christ died for the sins of the world. Even those of his own religion hated him at the time. They stirred up the people against him and finally they went to Pilate and asked for his death.

People find it hard to believe that Jews didn't kill Christ. I know that the true reason for his death has nothing to do with the fact that he was chosen. For the scriptures tell us that Jews are God's chosen people. Though sometimes I think they wish they weren't. They have endured much and overcome more. Not the least of which is the belief they killed Christ. They did not kill him---the Romans crucified him. But it was not anyone's fault but mine.

I wish I could tell you how I feel when I speak of his death and resurrection. The sacrifice paid for such a one as me. But Jews have had to carry the burden of the act of crucifixion and I think they are not to blame.

Just my opinion---oh yeah---and I have a minor in world history to help my opinion. Not just the holy scriptures. :-)

I have encountered around one hundred jewish people and I have yet to meet a single one I would like. Call it anti-semitism if you want but as a race of people they are the worst in the world I have encountered. The majority think only of themselves and they go around with this pious attitude that because they are jewish they are so much better than every other race of people. They are arrogant, rude, insensitive, ignorant and greedy. They chose not to associate with other cultures as they consider them beneath them unless there is a buck in it for them. They also like to play the persecution card. They have been persecuted throughout their history and in all instances they blame the persecuter. They never look at themselves and say wait on, perhaps if we weren’t such arseholes to everyone else maybe people wouldn’t persecute us.

I am a committed Christian and therefore definitely not anti-semitic, but the very fact that the Jews are God's chosen people seems to upset some folk. In the Middle Ages, the Jews were seen as the ones who killed Jesus and therefore evil. Also, then, Christians were not allowed to lend money at interest, so the Jews became moneylenders and, of course, people didn't like the fact that that made them rich. Finally, Satan hates the Jews because from them came the Saviour of the world, Jesus Himself. Hope this helps.

People are prejudice against any culture that they do not understand. This is especially true in religion and creed. Rather than to take the time to know and understand, some people just decide to hate because it is easier than taking time out of their lives to get to know something that may enrich their lives.

I have often wondered that myself, especially why Christan's and Muslims hate them.
Hello...!?!?!?!?!? Jesus WAS Jewish!!!! And Islam is just a branch off of Christianity which is a branch of Judaism. They all pray to the same God. I have a friend who thinks she might have been fired from a teaching job in a town where the KKK is very active because they found out she was Jewish.

It was well promoted by the Catholic Church for a thousand years. Blood libel was being promoted as late as the early 1900's. (that's where your priest tells you that jews need to kill and drink the blood of babies... and you believe him because he's your priest)

There are many reasons, few if any are the Jews' fault. One is that the Church determined that banking was a sinful industry, so the Jews became the moneylenders since christians weren't allowed. This put them in a position of monetary control and power- so ripe for the bigoted mind.

Larissa, some people just have to hate somebody (I don't know why) and the easiest ones to hate are the huge groups, because people resent their power; or, the smaller groups, because they seem easier to pick on and people know less about them. Good people need to look out for each other and speak out against hatred of any group. Not very original thought , but the best I've got.

Their god choose them to be his people! This and the fact that they caused the death of Jesus, so the Christians believe.
Look up marten Luther and see what he had to say about them. Hitler followed what he said right down to the letter. A lot of people believe that they have no scruples when it comes to business. These are things I have observed in my life. The truth is they are Human Beings just like the rest of the world!!!
