being a former pizza delivery guy myself, I always remembered the regulars that tip at least a fiver. they ALWAYS got their pizza first. some unsolicited tips as well...
1. put your dog in the bedroom/basement if he humps or barks a lot
2. have your money ready
3. leave the porch light on
4. 2&3 are especially important if the weather is shi**y
if you take care of your delivery driver you will get your pizza fast and hot every time...hold the spit. ;o)
MG and the aussie shouldn't order delivery. go pick it up you cheap beotches!

You don't have to tip them unreasonably, but if you tend to make a little extra cash there is absolutely nothing wrong with tipping them slighty (or even substantially, if you can afford it) more than usual. I'm sure they appreciate each and every tip, so tipping them above the norm of what they usually get is great.
And, I don't think they would spit in your food if you tip them, unless they are just having a really terrible day or are bitter in the first place. Everybody appreciates tips, no matter how big or small, most of the time, so long as the tip isn't ridiculously small, like, say, 25 cents or something like that.

My mom always taught me that if you want the best service you should be willing to pay a little bit extra. The standard tipping percentage is 15% but I usually tip 20-25% depending on the size of the order. If you only buy like $10-$15 worth of food throw in a little bit extra. I always get the fastest deliveries that way...

i continually tip 3.00 they provide the impact of being satisfied....or i tell them to maintain the exchange continually its over 3.00 A tip (or gratuity) is a charge to particular provider sector workers previous the marketed fee. the quantity of a tip is typically computed as a p.c. of the transaction minus taxes.[a million] those money and their length are a rely of social custom. Tipping varies between cultures and by using provider marketplace. although by using definition a tip is in no way legally required, and its volume is on the discretion of the guy being served, in some circumstances failing to grant an sufficient tip while one is anticipated would be seen very miserly, a contravention of etiquette, or unethical. In another cultures or circumstances, giving a tip isn't anticipated and offering one would be seen condescending or demeaning. In some circumstances (which incorporate tipping government workers), tipping is illegitimate and recognized a bribe.

Same as with every tip, about 10% of the bill count as a sensible tip. Rounding is the other option.
If you are in on 12,50 - 13 to 15 would be within the range. If you are a student or short of money, it is NOT considered rude if you do not tip at all. Tips are for extra service and you delivery is usually either included in the price or paid for extra. If you are afraid people might spit in your pizza, make pizza yourself it is extremely easy, takes the same amount of time a delivery takes and costs even less. There you go.

Why give people money for doing the job they are paid to do? This tipping lark has got to stop. American tourists come to Australia and start tipping everyone including taxi drivers and bar staff which Australians do not do. Australians don't have a tipping culture as our workers are paid honest wages. With pizza deliveries, I'll round up to the nearest dollar perhaps but that's it, I don't tip anyone by percentages.
