Sorry dear,no matter how much you love him,you aren't going to be able to help him. He's an addict. He will only stop using when he's ready. And he's going to have to hit rock bottom before that's even possible. He lives for the drug and his next fix, nothing else. Especialy meth,it's more addictive and harder to get off of than any other street drug, even crack. If he is a user then you realy need to walk away from the relationship. As hard as it is and as much as it will hurt, you need to leave him. Trust me,if you stay it will hurt you more than leaving. I was with my kids' dad for 7 1/2 years and the last year and a half he was addicted to crack. It could've been longer than that, but it was so bad by then he couldn't hide it anymore. It was a living HELL!!! We haven't been together for 7 years now,he lost everything he had including his family and he is in and out of jail and still using when he's out. Once an addict always an addict!

I'm sorry to tell you, but there is nothing you can do. An addict will give up his/her substance(s) whenever they hit their rock bottom. I lived with an alcoholic and did everything I could to try to get him to stop. Basically all you can do is get some help for yourself (a support system), because no matter what you say or do, he will only stop when he is ready and not for anyone else except himself. If you love him, the best thing you can do is not interfere in what he is doing. If it is affecting your life too much, it is best to get away from him because it will take a huge toll on your health. Don' t think that he doesn't love you because he won't quit. He is an addict and only he can help himself.
