not really. it's present here in the states but if you use your brain it's a one in a billion chance of contracting it. The only reason africa suffers so much is pure ignorance of so many things.

Certainly, I am afraid of HIV. I think all of us are afraid of the HIV. I met many friends on a site called positivesingles.com. They are HIV-positive patients. They told me now they were not afraid the HIV again. What they are afraid of now is the discrimination from others.

Unless you're sexually wreckless or share needles, the chances of getting HIV are slim to none.
