I have a 1/2 hr drive for any big stores from where I live. I have to go this weekend to get a few personal items at Wal-mart.
Would it be better to go by myself and be bored or take my bf (only been hanging out a little over a month) and risk being embarrassed when he sees the personal items I need? If I take him we could take my dog for a nice walk, have someone to talk to on the long drive and have a nice lunch someplace.
I don't need anything gross or anything just basic personal hygene stuff.

If this was me I would take my boyfriend. Women need certain things that men don't and if he doesn't know that by now then he's been living in a cave... It sounds like you could have a really good time walking your dog and having someone to talk to.

I would take him and make a day out of it. Everyone needs hygene stuff. If you feel embarrassed you could probably tell him you just need to run into the store really quick and he could wait in the car for you.

first of all relax guys see these commercials on tv all the time. just explain you want to pick up some personal items and meet him in another section of the store after you have them. no big deal. Why go alone when it sounds like you could have an enjoyable day. good luck

Take him, I'm sure he has seen these items before. Maybe you can be a little discreet about it. Or he can stay in the car and you could run in, someone needs to watch the dog, since you all are going to the park.

Better to risk being embarrased. With company, you may find he has a humorous side you like about him as well. If he's embarrased, remember, he'd probably rather be around you while you're using your "personal hygene" stuff than if you didn't have it at all.

Well if you're getting pads or tampons I'd feel a little iffy about it if you'd been going out for only a month.
If you aren't getting either of those things you have nothing to be embarrassed about.
You like to be clean and smell good! Nothing wrong there!

its always better to risk being embarresed cause it could wind up a good laugh and a good memory but to risk being bored just ends up a regret

What's so embarrasing? I would take him... regardless of how long you have been together he knows your a girl, you still have to shower and you still get your monthly friend.. he should understand this! If he doesn't it's time to look elsewhere!
