next summer me and my family are travling to alaska. we have two dogs and was wondering what paper work we need to have done. we will be driving through canada. not sure if we need a pasport for the dog or what. please help!!

You don't need a passport for the dog but you do need a health certificate and vaccinations a specific time before you travel (typically 30 days before you cross a border) for both entry into Canada and re-entry into the U.S. Rules vary by country. This site can help.

All you need is proof that the dog has had its rabies shot.I live in Canada and travel to the states all the time.
