The tragic loss of Kayne West's mother from a pop star rapper is coping through his faith as well as the Osmond Family who just lost thier dad at 90.
They are a family (Huge) dedicated to each other, GOD and thier parents.
A Survery was conducted that most kids who were taught about GOD had dinner with thier parents were less inclined to be involved in drugs, violence, sexual promiscuity and were less depressed.

The trouble with the Young talent like Brittney Spears, Lindsay Lohan Paris Hilton is the total family dysfunction and lack of respect for thier parents, and the problem of not knowing how to live a GOD centered life in a materialistic world
Agree?

What do you consider a "God" centered life? I was brought up in a Catholic household, never disrespected my parents but consider myself an atheist. Brittney grew up in a close knit southern baptist family centered around "God" and look how she turned out. You are also comparing apples to oranges in the examples you are giving. You cannot compare Kayne's upbringing to the Osmond's. You also cannot compare those two to Brittney, Lindsay or Paris. These 3 had lack of parental supervision, and mothers who wanted to be their "Friend" instead of a disciplinarian. Paris has great respect for her parents, its just that her parents are clueless socialites that think their girls have done no wrong. So to your argument I say it is not the presence of GOD in ones life it is a strong parental presence that is firm and loving with discipline.

What a crock!
I do not need to prescribe to your religion to properly parent my child. If this were true, the entire world up until Christianity would have been out of control and all the current civilizations that are not predominately Christian would be as well. We'd have never developed math and science. There would be no great works of art or literature out of Greece or the middle east. Go out into the world and open your eyes. I know plenty of messed up Christians. Rehab and prisons are full of people raised in Christian homes.

NO. That's such a biased, opinionated, propaganda spreading survey intended to convert people to Christianity. Think about all those super-strict Asian families both in Asia and in the U.S. Their culture demands respect for family and relatives, and thus, Asian families are A LOT closer to their families than other cultures are. So please don't take such surveys, which seems to have unaccounted for all the Asian families in the world or U.S. And before you wonder, most Asians ARE NOT religious, let alone Christian, and from my experience, we don't seem to communicate at the table dinner too much either. Communication is so much better in the afternoon.

You forgot about all of the other religions....
Remember? Christianity's not the only religion stressing moral values! What about Buddhism and Confucianism?

How the hell is Paris Hilton considered a "talent"??

Britney and Lindsay both have too much money to know what to do with it and they don't know how lucky they are - that's more likely the reason for their drug use.

Families that are closer together may be less likely to fall into drugs - but it doesn't necessarily have to do with religion or God.

Marilyn Manson went to Catholic School

If morality has a divine sourse, then name 1 good action that could be performed by a believer and not by a nonbeliever. Then name one bad action that could be perfromed by a beleiver, and never even contemplated by a nonbeliever. You should find that the first one does not have an answer, however, the second question shouln't take more than a few seconds to answer.

No, it occurs in households where spanking isn't taught. The trouble with young talent is: they aren't that talented and they're not getting any younger. Seriously, could you respect Dina Lohan (Lindsay's mom) if she were yours? Respect should be earned even if that person is your parent.

Yes i do agree....and it was so sad when George Osmond died.....i hope Marie wins Dancing with the Stars....even though i was rooting for Sabrina, but NO! she just had to be kicked off!!

oh, and i think that it's true, if they are brought up and the rules are enforced instead of taking lightly. You know, "here's what you need to know, now do it." and then they forget about their kids...Parents constantly need to be involved in their kids' lives and be a guide to them.. i think that's what the problem was with britney and paris...i mean, i think their parents let them become way to absorbed in the ways of the world.
and it doesn't have to be Christianity...there are many other religions that teach to honor their parents..

The problem with Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, et al is that people keep paying attention to them. Plain and simple.

Completely disagree. My nephews are a perfect example. They're bright boys, raised in a very Baptist family, went to Christian schools growing up. One is an arrogant, self-righteous little dope who has no common sense, no humility, and thinks only of himself. The other has gotten his teenaged girlfriend pregnant twice now, has been arrested, drinks, smokes, and barely finished high school.

They're just one example of people I know who were raised in "good Christian houses", that are an example of anything but your idea of wholesome.

self-indulgence. All toddlers are in comparison to that. My husband and that i've got our granddaughter (she'll be 3 in September) many of the time as quickly as we get off artwork, through fact her mom works evenings. We additionally take weekend journeys together with her and we trip together with her too. She is a okay-mannered, respectful little lady, bless her coronary heart! We get compliments on her sturdy habit constantly! human beings only adore her each the place we pass! I prepare her approximately God and Jesus, and he or she is going to church with us each Sunday (this has been recurring on the grounds that she replaced into approximately 6 weeks previous.) we are saying mattress time prayers, she says "please" and "thank you" - and in case you ask her to do some thing (%. up her toys, positioned some thing interior the trash, and so on) she says "particular!" She has an ornery streak with an occasional "poor 2" 2nd as quickly as in awhile, besides the undeniable fact that it in no way lasts greater beneficial than 30 seconds, she DOES pay attention to us, she DOES hear the notice "No" (and actual ACCEPTS it many of the time with an "ok Nana"), and he or she surprisingly plenty does as she's advised. i does no longer commerce her for the international!
