... The Bible is clear, and it is consistent. One person cannot die for the sins of another. This means that the guilt from the sins committed by one person cannot be wiped out by the punishment given to another person. First, in Exodus 32:30-35, Moses asks God to punish him for the sin of the Golden Calf, committed by the people. God tells Moses that the person who committed the sin is the person who must receive the punishment. Then, in Deuteronomy 24:16, God simply states this as a basic principle, "Every man shall be put to death for his own sins." This concept is repeated in the Prophets, in Ezekiel 18 "The soul that sinneth, it shall die... the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."

Jesus' coming was a completion of a prophcey. Jesus is the mediator between humans and God. When we pray, we pray in Jesus' name but were praying to God. This question is too long to type.. if you want a more in depth answer email me.
In the meantime read the bible.
And all those talking negatively towards God, that's not a good look, and is life threatening.
Have a good day peoples.

He didn't. He died because:
1) he was human, and crucifixion kills people, therefore crucifixion killed Jesus
2) the Jews had him arrested for treason so that he could become crucified in the first place
He DID NOT come to die, he came to TEACH people how to become closer to God, how to let LOVE RULE their lives. Christians will say that without Jesus' blood, God could not forgive and the world would be damned. That claim is the biggest, steamiest heap of caca in the history of the world. To say that God has limitations in how He forgives is BLASPHEMY.
God forgives as He wants. Is His forgiveness contingent (dependent) upon the blood sacrifice of Jesus? <<>> God's forgiveness is not contingent upon ANYTHING. God can and does forgive as He pleases, PERIOD. He does not need the "permission" of Jesus' spilled blood in order to forgive, He just forgives. His hands are not tied to the condition of Jesus' blood being spilled, for God is not limited in ANY way, including in His forgiveness.
What if Jesus was burned at the stake instead of crucified? There would be no blood sacrifice, because burning at the stake doesn't cause bleeding. What if he was suffocated instead? Or drowned? Or hanged? Or poisoned? What if he died from these other causes in a way that wouldn't make him bleed, what then? This "precious blood" theory doesn't hold water.
What if the Jews and everyone else simply BELIEVED Jesus' claim, what then? What if they all accepted him as the Messiah? Would that have been a good thing or a bad thing? Logic tells us that it would have been a WONDERFUL thing! Ah, but the notion that Jesus' blood being spilled is absolutely necessary in order for God to forgive us means that if the Jews accept Jesus, then God would never have been able to forgive anyone (again, this putting-limits-on-God thing), and everyone would be condemned to hell FOREVER.
What if Jews accepted Jesus, then what would the Christians be saying now?
The entire idea of the necessity of Jesus' blood sacrifice is pure gobbledeegook. Yes, in the OT, God told His people to sacrifice animals as atonement. There was a purpose in this. You see, not all sins required burnt offerings, only some. God gives these specifications. For major sins like theft, murder, rape etc, no such offering was required. However, for the little sins like telling "white" lies or saying curse words, such offerings were required. The big sins didn't require animal sacrifice, but the small, everyday ones did. Why? You see, if we commit a great sin, we that. Those kinds of sins don't slip our minds. If I killed you, or if you killed me, each would definitely know it and remember it. However, if I mutter curse words under my breath, I will forget how many times I do that..... UNLESS I HAD TO GIVE AN ANIMAL SACRIFICE EACH TIME. Soooo, the animal sacrifice was so that we can REMEMBER ALL sins, so that we remember not to commit them.
Example: Every time you say a bad word, you have to give a DOLLAR (not just a quarter, inflation!) to the "Curse Jar." If you curse often, you'd remember each time 'cause the dollars would remind you. It would help you not to curse in the first place, right?
Anywhoooo, blood sacrifice is NOT REQUIRED FOR FORGIVENESS. God forgives AS HE WISHES, WHO HE WISHES, and AS OFTEN AS HE WISHES. Blood atonement is not required, because God makes the rules, and His hands are NEVER tied. HE governs His forgiveness, not some blood sacrifice.
Jesus didn't come to die, he came to TEACH US TO COME TO GOD because GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US.

The answer is in the Bible, you just have to know where to look:
14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. 16 For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants. 17 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
( Hebrews 2 )
I recommend the Book of Hebrews for all the mysteries of who Jesus was before coming to Earth, and how it lines up with the Old Testament.

These texts should answer your question:
Ephesians 2:4-6; 1:9-10
1 Corinthians 1:30
1 Corinthians
15:21-22
Romans 5:18 - (first part) What Adam did
Romans 5:18 (last part) - What Christ did
Salvation is the answer:
THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO OF OURSELVES TO MERIT SALVATION. THIS COMES TO US ONLY AS A GIFT FROM GOD. GOD PAID TOO HIGH A PRICE FOR US TO IGNORE HIS INCREDIBLE SACRIFICE FOR US.

Because everyone else had their own sins, and therefore couldn't die for other people's sins. Jesus was perfect and sinless, so he could show his love by dying for our sins.

I've always wondered that myself. If God and Jesus, as pieces of the Holy Trinity, are two parts of a 3-piece entity, then Jesus dying on the cross is the same as God dying on the cross. But we're told that Jesus died on the cross so that all us mortal humans can go to heaven to be with God. So why would God kill himself, or a part of himself, to let us get to heaven when he's the one that can decide ultimately if we get there? Why go to the trouble? Makes no sense......

THE DEATH OF OUR LORD & SAVIOR CHRIST JESUS THAT HE MIGHT GIVE ALL LIFE
Heb.2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels
for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by
the grace of God should taste death for every man. 2:14 Forasmuch then
as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself
likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy
him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 2:15 And deliver
them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on
him the seed of Abraham.
Heb.9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from
dead works to serve the living God? 9:15 And for this cause he is the
mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption
of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which
are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 9:16 For
where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the
testator. 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise
it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 9:18 Whereupon
neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
1Cor.15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made
alive. 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 15:24 Then cometh the end,
when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when
he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 15:25 For he
must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 15:26 The last
enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 15:27 For he hath put all things
under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is
manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son
also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him,
that God may be all in all.

because he able to do that for he is God in the flesh of man
no other choice for us to pay as what he pay.
Phe 2:8-11
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
