even our digital watches of today evolved from analog watches from years ago. and before those watches existed, we had other, more simple methods for referencing time. same could be said for any modern convenience we have today. there is not one invention you can think of that did not evolve from something simpler. the internet didn't happen, the automobile wasn't just made without any prior knowledge of mechanics. isn't it ridiculous to think that our bodies with all their complex, moving parts were just created without an earlier design?

the question should read:
how many complex creations do you know that haven't evolved from some simpler creation?

My suggestion is for you to find a good definition for evolve.
We can play broadly and loosely with words, but your digital watch didn't evolve from an analog watch (I happen to have my grandfather's old pocket watch in the drawer and guess what it hasn't evolved, it's still an analog pocket watch).
The items that you mentioned were made by someone. Oh, and digital watches do not come close to working the same way as analog watches do.
As you correctly say, things like the Internet didn't 'just happen' (evolve) they were constructed.
But this is not a new concept, Solomon said that there is nothing new under the sun quite a few years back.
And if you carry your reasoning back far enough you would note just about everything we have was here before. Back to your watches; we kept time by the movement of the stars, planets and moon (wait, oh those were created, sorry about that).
All your examples, if carried back are just examples of things that have been refined over the years to give us what we have today.
And why is that ridiculous? Even you will admit that our bodies are much more complex than an automobile and it had a designer. Peer closely into your brain, why does it have such a huge storage capacity? No one really knows just how much we can cram into it. It's kinda like a car with a Tardis for a trunk (that's a Dr Who reference).
Look at your eyeball, why do you see in color? We don't need to for survival. Perhaps the same reason your car comes in various colors, to give us pleasure.
Absolutely not an accident, neither is it chance. And if you don't believe it, do some research on how long and how many scientists have trying to get something, anything to evolve.
If you haven't noticed, none of them has claimed the honor, yet.

I can't think of any. Even a work of art that is completely original developed from the knowledge and experience, the skill and imagination, of the artist. They didn't start out doing gallery-quality work, after all: these days, they probably all started with things Mama posted on the refrigerator door.
But realistically, everything builds on what came before. Nobody ever really "starts from scratch." Not in the 21st century, anyway.
P.S. to the guy above me: your old grandfather's watch is a particular instance of watch technology of your grandfather's time. No, an individual does not, in any relevant sense, "evolve" during its lifetime. But its progeny are a little different from itself due to differences in the mother and the father, and so on. Over short periods of time, you can see differences in domestic animals due to the intervention of animal husbandry and the like. Mother Nature is more haphazard and takes longer, but she changes essentially all species over time. Yes, some are more primitive on an evolutionary scale, such as the fern in the plant world or the shark in the animal world. But that's because they found their environmental niche and filled it better than any other species.

There is no creation for evolution is a process and all things come from the process...creation is a simplistic one time event...it may/might happen in steps like when a building is being built...they pour the foundation, erect the girders, add the ventalation and electical systems, place the drywall and window systems, hook it all up, and begin renting. PROCESS...each phase is a finite creation. Evolution is infinite but this is the best analogy I can come up with...PEACE!

That's a very bad example because watches
don't evolve. They are created. The plan or
the idea evolves. But not the watch.

You're comparing non-living things with living things. It's a bad argument. And this is coming from someone who accepts evolution.
