I dreamed that I was teaching my second grade class as usual. There was this HUGE snake in the room and somehow I managed to contain it in a small glass jar which I sat on the shelf.

The snake kept moving around in the jar and I was terrified that it might fall of the shelf and shatter releasing the snake. Another teacher came in the room and I asked her to make sure the lid was tight on the jar.

She twisted it open by mistake and the snake got loose and was all around the room. All the kids got scared and I was so afraid. :-(

Well im not an expert but....

i think what it means is that you care alot about your classe, you dont want them to get scared.

also the teacher came in and it go loose that could mean you dont trust that person.

and the ending is maybe you have a fear of snakes. if its a dream that comes back alot then you should try to learn more about snakes and try to go to pet them and stuff to see for your self its not all that bad

in the bible, the devil is manifested as a snake. The snake could symbolize personal demons. And since you were trying to contain it... rather than riding yourself of personal demons, perhaps you are only trying to keep them bottled up?
In another theory, snakes trigger animal instinct and fear. The snake is let out in your dream - it could symbolize that it's time for you to act more on impulse and follow your instincts.

Snakes are associated with deception, lies, and deceit. To see a snake in your dream represents that some kind of deception is working against you. But you capturing the snake in a glass represents you isolating the deception, however there is someone you know who you entrusted with the situation who let the deception slip out. Becareful who you allow to know certain things going on in your life.

Sorry, but I have to agree with Veron! On the surface, this dream symbolizes you as "protector of harm", and how much you care for your kids. Underneath, the snake represents evil or secrets, and your fear of them getting out.
