people who are continuously late, as you self describe, are a nuisance and disruptive in class and any place else you decide to eventually show up at...... seems to me your mom already knows that your slow and she wont be surprised by your tardiness at school.

time to learn about responsibility and change for the better, it'll make your life much easier and others will appreciate you more

STOP YELLING. Using all caps is really rude. Use some proper punctuation and spelling if you want people to take you seriously - you can't be all that worried about your mom being "mad" if you can't even spell it.

Just tell your mom that you're sorry, and explain honestly why you are late so often. Offer a reasonable punishment for yourself - for every day you were late, you will stay after school doing a community service project. Also suggest reasonable solutions of what YOU (and not anybody else) can do to make sure you aren't late again - maybe start waking up and leaving the house half an hour earlier each day.
Your sincere desire to make up for your wrongs and do better in the future will impress your mom and your principal, and make them less mad.

Make a plan to show her and the principal how you will keep from being late ever again. That's about the best you can do, and that is what they will both want. Apologies are okay, but not worth much. What you need is a plan. Will you set an alarm to tell you when to leave the house? It has to be something you haven't done before, so they will believe it will work.
Another idea is to suggest some penalty you will get if you are ever late again. Something that will really hurt you if it does happen, so they know you will try to be on time. Like no videogames for a week, or something you will really miss.

Why are you always late? There really isn't going to be a way to make your mom less mad - not unless you have a killer, believable excuse for being late again.

I think your mom has a right to be mad - you said it yourself: You are always late, but you really don't try. Today you got in trouble at school because of it. Being on time is an important thing, and you are just blowing that off. I'd be mad too.

If you want your mom less mad. Come up with a plan that will make you on time from now on. When she askes you about it say I know I'm always late and I know it's a problem so from now on I'm going to do this to try and be on time. Example: I'm going to go to bed a little earlier or I'm going to have all of my stuff ready and in the car before going to bed. You know come up with a I won't be late plan if you do this she will really think that you thought it out which will make her think your really sorry for always being late and she will think your taking care of the problem this will make her proud and less angry but really try and make one and follow through being late is a bad habit to start bosses don't like it you don't want to find yourself in the unemployment line all the time. Instead of really not trying to be late, why don't you really try to be 10 minutes early.

Humans are creatures of habit - make a conscious effort to get up at a good time, so you have time to do all the things you need to do in the morning and still get to school.

You could lay things out at night before you go to bed so you have less to do in the morning.

It's important to hit this one on the head sooner rather than later, not just because it'll stop your mum getting mad, but also because in the future it'll really cause problems if you are working, or if you want to be reliable.

I have a friend who is always late, so i always arrange to meet 1 hour before I turn up - works every time - and she always apologises - I don't tell her I just got there before her. It is annoying though, because sometimes she's more than late, and I just want to scream!

You should approach your mom before she approaches you. You will want to reference the past tardies as being completely irresponsible and express how you will make every effort to do better in the future. You could also offer some type of self imposed restrictions (like a punishment) to show that you are serious about making a change. From now on, do you best to be on time and even help her to be on time by suggesting that she "get going" if she expects to be on time. Hope that helps.

but you couldnt find any that were good enough.
so you will start getting up much earlier,to continue your search.though this may not stop your lateness. at least you will show that you are trying and that your heart is in the right place

You have a major problem. Why are you always late. All you have to do is leave earlier than you do now. There's no reason to be late. Deal with it and next time leave 10 or 15 minutes earlier. There's nothing anybody can say to help.

To tell you the truth, I don't really care how mad she's going to be because she has every right to be angry with you! Get to school on time...that's your responsibility with no lame excuses. You don't need help drumming up some story to tell your mother, you need discipline...and BTW, the area in which you do need help is in English as well as how to write properly on-line. You do not use all CAPS. It's considered yelling at people!
