do you believe skinny women are better people? I'm a healthy size 12 with some meat on my bones, why can't I get a date?

Neither skinny or fuller sized women are better people.
But we are way too obsessed with thinness today. Years ago, size 12 would not be considered "heavy" at all, (and frankly, I think of size12 as just fine!). Today, we are so inundated with media coverage of thin models, and unfortunately some males think that this is the norm of what women ought to look like. Even more tragic is the fact that too many women come to believe the same thing.
Not all men buy into the ultra thin look. A lot of us would like to hug a woman and feel that there's something there!
I'm sure you'll find guys to date. The first thing I notice about a woman is not her body....it's her smile :) If you are getting depressed about your situation, and you come off as grouchy or just plain sullen, that will probably adversely affect your dating chances more than your weight will.

Thick women are in. You have to be comfortable in your own skin before anyone will be comfortable with you. It s like God gave men a sensor to sense when women are insecure and afraid. They don' t like that. I know first hand. I used to be real thin a 10 and now I am a 16 which I am working on gettin down to a 14 but it took some soul searching to be happy and feel sexy in my skin. Not everyone likes skinny women. A lot of men love me everysince I accepted myself and stopped letting others judge me. I hope you can just take a little while and just look at yourself in the mirror and see how beauty to YOUR standards are. If you think you are beautiful, BELIEVE IT. Say it to yourself all the time. You can be almost arrogant. The minute you truly believe you are perfect the way you are you'll have to fight them off with a stick. You want to know what really put me over? The movie Phat Girls with Monique in it. I realized that that big lady was so beautiful and the sexiest man in the movie wanted her especially when she figured out she was beautiful and not her skinny friend! Besides I like women too and I would much rather have something to hold on to than not! A size 12 is very sexy! To me way more sexy than a size with only 1 digit!!!!!

I dont believe that skinny people are necessarily better, but I tend to go after the curvier girls(you know, a little meat on the bones, some booty). Size twelve, sounds perfect to me. I hope you get a date soon.

It's not your weight. Start thinking about how good you look. This will come over. Be confident and smile. Go to places where you will meet people with the same interest as you. Don't look at other women. There will always be someone who you think looks better than you. Make the best of what you have and it will happen. SMILE

The first girl I ever dated seriously was a ballet dancer. She had NO 'curves'...NONE! At the age of 18 her 'figure' resembled that of a ten year old boy. We were together for 5 years. Her lack of 'curves' didn't seem to bother her....and it certainly didn't bother me. Skinny is 'better'?....full-figured is 'better'? Neither one. "Better" has very little, if anything, to do with the shape or configuration of the body. It has more to do with character and personality.

i think the combination of the 2 is good. who wants a skinny girl with no curves? or a curvy girl whos really big? but anyway you look at it you are beautiful. everyone is. and maybe u and the girls should get out more and meet new ppl. its not cause you lack anything and if someone thinks u do they are lacking intellegence we were all made unique and beautiful

... I personally LIKE a gal with a few curves ... someone who looks like a WOMAN as opposed to a pre-adolescent boy.
