I have not done lab test but i think you have a point. When i drink beer i sit nicely and chat well until about 10.30 then get overly slurred.
With dark spirits such as rum or whiskey i roam. I mean i dance and dance and get amorous and then dance some more. you just cant stop me.
with wine, which just happens to be my fav.! White i chill. i mean i really chill. like there is no tomorrow. lol.
With red wine i talk, and talk and talk. I seem to have an opinion on ever thing ever one says. even the colour of your socks!
So yes, i agree, it does effect what your character.
PS I've been on a rather nice, red, South African wine all night.
night. x x x

Hmm that's an interesting question, I've never really thought about it. I don't think it matters though. Maybe you just drank more on the day you drank vodka or the vodka had a higher percentage of alcohol then the rum. However I find alcoholic drinks mixed with energy drinks will affect how you act just because of the added caffeine

Don't drink much anymore, but in my day!
Tequila - I believe I'm invincible
Kronenberg - Loud mouth, say things i regret.
Rum - Feel mellow, every ones friend
Vodka - just up for partying
Red Wine - I can drink a bottle, forget I've drunk anything so start on beers then wonder why the excessive hang over.
Just stick to guiness and fosters now. No odd effects

Lol yeah, i think it has more to do with the situations where we have certain drinks which effects our behaviour rather than the drink itself! If we're drinking beer, it's probably early evening and we're relaxed in our local being silly. If we're drinking wine we're probably in a more formal situation, we're dressed up and looking our best, so we're feeling more flirty. If we're drinking tequila, then we're definately at party or in a club, so we're excitable. If we're drinking whiskey... well.. let's be honest, it's probably 3AM, and we're depressed about something!

Absolutely!
I'm everyones friend when I drink beer or most other alcohol but if I drink whisky I turn very violent and want to beat the whole World up.
Hence, I do not touch whisky any more, ever! I don't like to be an a**hole.

I am reasonable on most drinks..but can be a bit argumentive on whisky.
I worked for many years in a bar, and one thing l have noted, is that men can drink loads of beer without too much effect....apart from the stagger or the dozing off....but most are vile when they drink spirits.,,they change visibly before your eyes.

Gin makes me sin - period. Can't drink the stuff at all. I no longer drink actually ...but in my "day" I drank allot. Beer made me silly and whiskey did make me really have a smarty mouth.

Definitely, I turn in to a complete moron when I used to drink whisky or strong lagers like Tennants Super lager - rocket fuel - should have a warning on it!!! And, I never touch cheap cider as it is made from chemicals and never seen an apple in its life.

It doesn't affect my behaviour but definatly how I feel in the morning. I generally drink bitter, but even one pint leaves me rough in the morning. Where as I can have a few gin and tonics and feel fine the next day.
