So I fixed my name in my Birth Certificate in my country [ both first and last name ]. So now I need to fix my Green Card, Social Security and Passport... Which one do I do first and do I just bring the new Birth Certificate? What else do I need? I can just fix the passport in my consulate right? Please help me and I don't want to make a mistake.

Theresa - Well of course I had it legally change... It's not like I can erase the writing and write it myself... I just don't know like what to do next.

Your name on the birth certificate must match all the names in your other documents. The birth certificate is the source of all data on other documents.

What do you mean that you "fixed" your name on your birth certificate? Was it spelled incorrectly? Or did you legally change your name?

In any case, the above poster is correct. It doesn't really matter what order you do the other things in.
