You seem mature enough to do this, and your relationship has lasted a long tim, and you're in love. If you feel it's right, do it.

If you can, talk to your parent(s) about this. It may be embarrassing, but you'll have the extra assistance you need in case something goes wrong. After having sex, you'll need to make an appointment with a gynecologist (this is recommended around your age whether you're sexually active or not). The gynecologist can prescribe birth control pills.

Use a condom always. Unless you're financially able to care for a baby, use as much protection as you can. If your boyfriend has never worn a condom before (he may have tried it out once, lol), he should attempt to put one on as practice before he gets together with you; nothing kills a mood faster than not knowing how to use the equipment. I would also recommend getting some type of lubrication, like KY Jelly or Wet lube. You'll likely be nervous and perhaps not properly lubricated, and it's going to help your comfort level a lot if you use some. You can get condoms and lube at any pharmacy or some place like Wal-Mart.

It likely will not be fun for you in the beginning, and it may even hurt. You might also bleed; this is normal. You know your body better than anyone, so don't be afraid to tell him to slow down or go easier. Try to relax. Communication is key to making this a good experience.

I'm glad to hear that you have been waiting to truly get to know each other before having sex. It actually sounds liek your ready. If you plan on having sex from now on with him I would get on birth control. And he should always wear a condom! ALWAYS You can never be too safe! You have to get birth control pills from your doctor, but you can buy condoms anywhere really.

Honestly, the first like 5 or more times I had sex I didnt really like it. It didnt hurt for me the first time either, it just wasnt all that exciting and not at all as big of a deal as I thought it would be. But it does get better with practice! I also went on birth control and had alot of side effects from that (nausia, irregular periods, being moody!) so my guy and I just use condoms. Its whatever you both feel comfrtable with. be safe, and good luck!

i think youre old enough to make the decision and youve been together for over two years. if you really love him, do it.
have him buy condoms, but if he buys one too big it wont work, so dont let his pride get in the way.
you should also get some contraceptive foam, you put it in an applicator and put it in like a tampon.
it will hurt a little but should be nice overall.
good luck!
