Well what is good about being British, Its a hard one to answer. Everybody form every country think its good to be from. Im sure if i lived in Rusia or Ethiopia I would think the same as i do about Britain. I think we have on the whole a sort of sence of fair play, sometimes misdirected. We can argue amongst our selves about right and wrong such as Iraq and thats not a bad thing. I hope we are tolerant of all religions and races. We do have a sense of humour often black humour so we laugh when things go topsy turvey. We have a Royal Family for good or bad but do we really want a voted president? We would end up with yet another polically minded person. Im not so sure about our anthem, I would like the words to reflect the nation. God save our people, long may they prosper, what ever race or religion protect us all. Not these words but that sort of Idea. Dont confuse British with English, Im Welsh but also British and Im hapy to be both. Thank your lucky stars you wasnt alive in 1945 and living in Hiroshima? Or Berlin in 1945 or Vietnam in 1968 etc etc etc That why were luvk to be British

The sense of fair play. Freedom of speech but that is being eroded. Our lovely countryside. Also our tolerance of criticism. We don't react in a violent way if someone makes fun of our spiritual/religious beliefs. We just feel sad for the person who has insulted our Lord.
We also have a great sense of humour.

our next door neighbours down south always give us a great laugh with their football teams efforts, the fact that they take themselves so serious and actually believe their media that they are a world class team makes it even more hilarious, i guess that's another manager away, what happened to turnip head anyone here know.
