She has been constipated for a couple of days and I've tried just about everything but nothing helps. Any ideas or good suggestions??? Thanks!

Prune juice helped my 17 month old. Also, try raisins if she'll eat them. Any additional fiber rich food will help. Try the natural way before any stimulants which can be very harsh on their little bellies! Hope she feels better soon!

Yeah, prunes and apple juice. My pediatrician told me once that the white and yellows could make the problem worse. Try for the greens. If all else fails you could try a suppository. I know that seems extreme. But it works and it's really not that terrible. Good luck. I know how bad it is to have a little one that needs to go and can't.

I give my daughter a small cup of straight cranberry juice....it seems to work for her. Also I know that prune juice is suposed to work. Ive heard that if you can get a spoonful of oil down that it will make ya poop. I have never succeeded though. I got the oil to her mouth and she refused to take it. I hope you can get it for her. Maybe a warm bath to relax the muscles...if your potty trainin then there could be a whole nother problem

We had the same problem with our child and solved it by mixing prune juice with his drink (he seemed to like it in milk). It only took about 6 hours to take effect but it may be more or less for tour child.

Stop allowing her to have so much dairy in one day..cheese, milk(she should only have about 24 oz in one day) can cause constipation.
Have you asked her pediatrician for advice? Normally they can prescribe some type of laxative safe for her age or enema.
Good luck!

Get some Gerber pear juice and give it to her. You can even mix it in with her milk. Good Luck!

Have you tried prunes, lots of water, and fiber?
