I tried this way back....not good! To be honest I didn't rate it even on legs!
Personally I find waxing (professionally to be the best)

It's not made for down there. Down there is a very sensitive area, using Nair, can really cause some serious burnage. You should select a product for sensitive skin.
Waxing is safe, because it doesn't chemically burn.
Attached is a great hair removal suggestion guide for all areas of the body.

You should not use Nair for any other areas then what it is intended for. It can cause severe burns to skin that is too senstive. Try looking for a cream made for just that area. Good Luck

They have a Nair for the bikini area.
Better still, there is a shaving cream/gel out there called "Coochie".....(no joke I'm serious). It's especially for shaving yourself in the genital area. My cousin uses it on her legs too. You might have to look into "adult" shops to find it, or online.

it's not good for down there. the hair is too thick and the results are very patchy. it also causes ugly red spots and burning.

It is, but I wouldnt use it DOWN THERE because it might irritate your skin. I'd rather wax it instead.
