Well you could spend a few dollars on frontline or keep buying shampoo to bath them and keep buying sprays and keep the fleas. Or spend the money on frontline and get rid of the fleas??
Wow tuff choice isn't it. Refuse to spend money on something that works or KEEP throwing money towrds things that don't/

So you're tired of fleas, but not willing to use something that actually works?
Go ahead and try all the stupid home remedies and pet store crap that people on here are going to suggest. Then when you've paid 100s of dollars and still have fleas, maybe you'll realise it was cheaper to just buy the Frontline in the first place.
Pet store stuff and home remedies do not work, this is a fact. That's the reason drug companies and vets can afford to charge more for Frontline, Revolution etc; they're the only things that actually work.
Flea shampoos don't work. But you know that now, because you've tried it and you still have fleas. Just buy the darn Frontline and save money and stress in the long run - the last lady I met who'd tried cheap crap to try to avoid Frontline had a £140 bill for toxicity - and still had fleas. Think about it.

puppies? how old are they? there is a certain age/weight that you cannot use Frontline. Frontline IS the way to go though in general. If you want to get rid of the problem you are going to have to spend money in order to do so. Fleas like to hang around the rear end of dogs too and lay their eggs inside the butt. THIS IS NOT GOOD....spend the money or find suitable homes for the puppies (which will have to be flea free anyway if you are going to give them to good, responsible people).

There are less expensive flea treatments than frontline. You can get very cheap monthly topical flea treatment at the grocery store. I use advantix - yes, it's expensive - but I haven't had a flea in my house or on my dogs for at least 5 years (advantix works on fleas, ticks and mosquitos which might be why it is so expensive). You are not doing your dogs (or yourself) a favor by repeatedly bathing them and spraying them with poison.

if you arent willing to pay for the frontline. then you must not really be tired of the fleas yet. i havent found anything else that will take care of them, i get my frontline for my 2 dogs for 22 dollars a month at the vet or if you want to find a good seller on ebay you can get it alot cheaper but you have to be careful, i have found a seller with the correct stuff and i get it there now, but id think if you were that tired of fleas 33 bucks a month for 3 dogs wouldnt be bad.

There are issues that your canine ought to consume that pop out in the process the floor, and can deter the fleas. look into fenugreek and garlic for this. you ought to apply a vacuum purifier thoroughly and in many situations to be certain that fleas and eggs in carpets are bumped off and wash bedding too. it would be a stable theory to shave the canine, or a minimum of crop them heavily so as that baths are extra effectual. as quickly as you have dealt with this infestation then you definately can use Frontline or yet another flea deterrent. stable success. additionally do somewhat examine on rosemary oil and different stinky ingredients. You do ought to examine those as no longer all are constructive to canine.

My dog was allergic to frontline so we had to use the cheaper wal-mart brand. It didn't work as long as frontline does but was cheaper and he never got fleas even after playing with stray's that were covered with fleas. I'd try the walmart brand I understand you not wanting to spend so much on your dogs, frontline is expensive and you have to multiply that price by three. Ask your vet and they might also reccomend something cheaper.

Hmmmm....have you read up about the flea and its life cycle? The only way to get rid of them is to use one of those "expensive" products. If you buy online it is cheaper. Or, you can keep buying flea shampoo, colors, sprays etc. That's really all you can do. Oh and vacume a lot, but the only way to kill the cycle is a Frontline type product. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear.

You can purchase Advantage/Frontline for less through Dr.Foster & Smith catalog (www.drsfostersmith.com)
or
you can try a flea dip at the local dog groomer for about $20 or
better yet do the flea dip at home for about $8.00 (www.petstreetmall.com) it doesn't last as long as the advantage but it will do in a pinch.
Good luck!

I live in the south too (Florida) but we put K9 Advantix on our dog so he doesn't have any fleas.
You can try to use a flea collar. It is supposed to repel the fleas.
Or you can give them a bath every week with a special kind of shampoo.
The best way is to buy K9 Advantix or any other kind of flea medication. You can find cheaper ones on the internet.
