It looks like some Akita Inu puppies. It is a Japanese breed. Akita - a city in Japan
Inu - Dog
This dog breed is careful and very affectionate with its family. It is a first class guard dog. Akita is very agressive to other dogs and animals, therefore should not be let free outside. May not accept other children and may bite. These dogs get bored quickly. Can vocalize interesting sounds.

It's definately a larger breed (maybe about 7 wks)but I don't think they're mastiff-big...also mastiffs shouldn't have the white on legs. The white makes me think akita, but their ears look a little big to be akita? Maybe Belgian Malinois....but again, too much white on legs.
Edit: It could be an Anatolian Shepherd dog...they come in lots of different colors including tan with black markings...and white markings are common and acceptable in this breed.

What an attractive canine! yet from the seems of its face and paws it definatly sounds like a Pit Bull. If its no longer a pit bull than i'm guessing its like a mix with a jack russel terrior.

I get the general impression of Akita, but the ears look a little too big, and the head a little long and narrow, so maybe a mix or some sort.

well it def is not a lab or a retriever...it looks kind of mixed breed and like it might have huskey in it but the mastiff guess is a pretty good one
