Mono-unsaturated fats are more healthier. Poly's can cause plaque of the arteries.

Edit: Clarifying my response. Polyunsaturated fats are fragile and unstable to heat and light and can turn into trans-saturated fats and also break down into other toxins. It's for this reason, it is recommended to keep them in the refrigerator and in a dark container. Mono-unsaturated fats are more stable and less likely compared to polys to turn into trans fats but mono-unsaturated fats can still be turned into trans fat the longer you cook with them.

Polyunsaturated and mono-unsaturated fats are on the same

level you need both of these fats one is not healthier than the other.

the guy above me has it wrong. trans and saturated fats are bad for you, mono-unsaturated are better, and poly- unsaturated are the best. you can get poly-unsaturated in fatty fish, nuts, and flaxseed oil.
