I prefer Cannidae All life stages or Innova Evo. Also check out Timberwolf or Black Gold, as some APBT owners prefer these two. The important thing to look at is the ingredients, ignore the protien and fat guide on the bag, as it can be misleading. Here is a good read:

I sometimes also like to supplement their food with flaxseed oil, to make their coat shine.

Solid Gold or Avoderm. High grade ingredients, produced in California- (the state with the highest regulation on dog food) Its more expensive, but were talking about your dogs health, that's priceless.

Look into products that contain no byproducts and that are free of animal testing. Don't purchase Iams. They may make your doggies sick, they have had lots of recalls throughout the years.
Check out my blog and the category on the right on choosing pet foods.

we live in the suburbs of Dallas and ran into a lot of grass allergies. we thought (and were told) it might be food allergies and tried everything under the sun, sometimes resulting in HORRIBLE gas and runny poo. we now have her back on iams, but on the lamb and rice, as lamb is better for the skin. it works great, but we still have to give benadryl almost daily for skin irritation.
and please pay no attention to morons like anon.
