Don't worry. I volunteer in my community. I just dislike the answers that were given where they basically said, "Screw the world. It's all prophesied. Lets just wait for Jesus."

It makes me wonder if the world isn't doomed because people like that have already given up...

First I pray for Christ to come quickly!
Second, I follow Jesus' mandate to care for ALL widows, orphans and prisoners through visitation, food and clothing.

Remember that it was not God Who got us into this mess; it was our "first parents," and their wilfull disobedience.
Blessings on your day!!

When you study the Bible you will see that no matter what people do to try to make the world a better place it will fail. The reason being is that is says Satan the Devil is the ruler of this world and is headed for destruction. That is why you are suppose to pray for Gods kingdom. Sadly not many people take time to understand the Bible.

Well lets look at this logically

Atheists do not believe in God.

If there is no god, then there is no right or wrong. Nor is there good and bad. How do you see something as bad? It is merely the evironment in which people find themselves.

Your question is without validity.

There's a lot of good going on in the world that no one sees.

Personally, I am involved in helping others in a few different ways. I'll only discuss it via private email, though. To discuss it here will sound like I'm bragging.

peace respect regards

Everyone in the world has the power to help no matter what religion they are. What your saying makes it seem that Muslims. Hindus, Buddhists and Catholics don't help anybody. That's not true at all. I just hope one day we can all learn to love each other and stop fighting these meaningless wars

How does the saying go....ah, yes: The Christian resolution to find the world ugly and bad has made the world ugly and bad.

many christians want the world to fail. they even pray for it.

apparently, the world has to hit an all time low before their savior will return, so many actually consider our horrible state as a good omen. they think that the end of the world is what is best, so, while they try to convert nonchristians, they don't actually do anything to change the state of affairs unless they believe that it will secure more members(ie: mormon missionary work in 3rd world countries)

If two biblical parts are notably played by "many" and "few", many notably being the deceiver's part; And if these two imperfect and perfect parts are notably called "their part" and "your part", then what to do is simply play your part accordingly as written in the script-u-are: "glorify God" by "make them on the contrary part ashamed", and do it without making yourself ashamed in the process, that is unless you want "their end" noted in 2Corinthians 11:15.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
