Why are pediatricians paid so little? They are one of the lowest paid physicians.

I wish I knew. Pediatricians are at the bottom of the HMO food chain - unless they're specialists. This means that a regular pediatrician has to see three times as many patients to make up for it.

FYI - Surgeons and Radiologists are the highest paid.

their salaries selection from state to state, usa to usa. in case you intend to make quite some money, start up your very own guidance. privately run clinics could make some docs over 5 million a year. of direction, area is each thing!

Why do you think they are paid any less, than other non-specialist physicians? It seems to me, they're paid about the same as any other family/primary physician is???
