"In Matthew 24, Jesus described the state of affairs that would dominate the world between His ascension and His return: You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled... For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places... Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake... Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold... And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
History is known by Him in advance, and it's still under His control. The questions of the world won't be answered in peace initiatives, political movements, or world religions. The state of the world won't be redeemed by medical advances or modern technology. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only answer, and the return of Jesus Christ is the only hope. "

The world may be in chaos, but there is still time to come out of it. I'm talking about Spiritual Babylon. For the day will come when God will make that great nation drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And we don't want to be found in the midst of her when our Lord returns.
The World is in chaos and is slowly destructing because we have violated His Law; we have broken the covenant.(Isaiah24:3-6)
For six thousand years Satan has created pain and suffering on this earth. For six thousand years Satan has kept humanity prisoners of sin. But Christ broke those chains with His precious blood. We still have time to prepare our hearts for the coming of The Lord.

Hello,
I some ways the world is getting better and in other ways worse. For example my parents born before 1920 would roll in their graves regarding same sex unions but then again the likes of Tiger Woods would not have been allowed on any golf course in America other than a caddy in their times. Ah today the KKK has 8500 members but had up to 5 million in the 20's. There was not the Islamic fundamentalism and 911 but there was Hitler and Pearl Harbor. I can go on and on but I think you'll get my drift.
Cheers,
Michael Kelly

Indeed, which one will you all believe vs know.
Prophecy vs Prophesy is as Gloom vs Groom.
One oppresses and another uplifts unto comfort.
As for return of Jesus, such is the Gloomy part.
Son of Man would bring vengeance, not grace.
Perhaps that's why Son of Man should repent.
Objective is "be reconciled (thru J-->C) to God".
Don't stay in the J part of Jesus-->Christ-->God.
For eternal salvation is "through" Jesus-->Christ;
which makes the Jesus part: temporal salvation.
Temporal salvation in Jude 1:5 doesn't end well.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all.

#2 and yes it can get worse. Jesus said it would be like the days of Noah, and Lot. We will see really how bad it will be if a democrat goes into office, because the first two things they will do is allow partial birth abortion, and homosexuals to get so-called "married"! If that aint getting worse then I dont know what is!

It's gonna get worse before it gets better. Didn't Jesus mention something about birth pains? Talking about all the bad things that must happen before the actual events. It's all gonna pan out the way God wants it to.

No.2 works for me. I'm mean, as believers we already know that it has to get worse. Jesus said it.
Honestly, I wish Jesus would come now because there's really nothing in the world to stick around for. But when the Lord opened my eyes to his heart for mankind, I don't want him to come yet because there's so many souls to be saved...

On the positive side, during those dark, dark times the world will a people repent and turn to God in record numbers.
So, just think some of the atheists here today may very likely become Christians before they die!

Things are getting worse, because of many reasons, like how advanced we are these days - nuclear bombs for instance are a threat. I mean, just look at the news.

Yes and no.
As a Christian I don't believe it has to get worst.
Jesus said whispers of war not war itself.
