I'm plan on buying a Prolight 4, and was wondering if there was that much of a difference between the regular and the women's. If so, the women's sizes are 20 x 66 and 20 x 72. I'm 5' 10. I'm new to backpacking and I didn't know if there was something special to getting the right size. Obviously I was thinking of getting the bigger size, but I wanted to make sure those extra few inches were neccessary, as the larger size costs about $15 more. Thank you and any help will be appriciated.

Well if you are 5'10" then that equals 70" so unless you want your head or feet hanging off the end I would get the 72"
See how easy that was.

Hi, go for the prolight 3- the largest size as there is not much difference between the two and the prolight 3 larger size packs down to the same size a a smaller prolight 4

If your going to use it for backpacking every ounce is going to count. I use a Big Agnes sleeping bad (super light) and you buy a pad that actually slides into the bottom of your sleeping bag. The pad is also super light and made by Big Agnes. Much better than a therma rest for backpacking.
