That's exactly what the 20,000+ denominations and non-denominations have done. They are, in effect, saying that the Holy Spirit is a Spirit of confusion.

Second never trust spirits they may be evil unless you now they are truly a non evil spirit...

Third Bible Reading is the best thing to solve any and all your problems and will help protect you and your friends, family, cousins, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and everyone else from evil

No, I don't imagine about the Holy Ghost, I Know about it, I was there on July 22, 1971 at 10:30 PM in a tent meeting when he filled me with his spirit, & that was on a Thursday night. & I don't interpretate the scriptures how I see fit, The Holy Ghost is our teacher & he will lead us into all Truth,

The steps and instructions you have formulated is not Christian procedure. First of all, on step one what book do you pick up? The "Do It Yourself Fix It," Book. I wouldn't advise that for starters. And don't fret because that means you skip steps 3,5,6,and 7. It's okay, you are still searching.

Hu? Who told you that? I know that the Bible was not written a certain way for you to #5. That is why we have so many different religions in the world. This is a very strange question to me....

This is how you can find the truth:
1. forget everything you know (not literally)
2. think that everything is possible
3. take everything into consideration
4. use logic and science to find things out on a level, on a meta-level, on a meta-meta-level and so on
5. realize that you are a human being, limiting you from knowing enough to judge whether or not you know the truth

The Bible is interpreted to everyone in their own way. It is a matter of opinion. If you are convused about it you talk to the minister at your church and he or she would be able to better guide you on the subjects at hand.

Wow, I am sorry you think like this. Truth is having God reign in your life and letting HIM guide you. God is very real and He WILL show Himself to you. Not out of your mocking Him, though, I assure you that!

You forgot a couple of steps:

8. Ask others to "give in the name of God" so that you may spread the "gospel of The Lord"

9. bask in the light of GOD (i.e. live a lavish and decadent lifestyle, all the while saying you are following in the footsteps of Jesus)

I believe that we are all born with 'truth' it is a matter of knowing 'truth' that becomes the challenge because there are so many opinions and different views etc etc.
I think that the only way to find 'truth' is to seek it within ourselves.
