i dont have outlook but I have outlook express and Vista.

can I do it in Word or excel?

Im not computer literate so if you have the answer for me, break it down so even a two year old can understand.

A PST file is essentially a file that holds your offline emails and you need the full verion of Outlook to use make/use this file type/extension.

Only Outlook (from the Office Suite) has the ability to create a PST file. Outlook Express does not have this feature.
