instead, we should take our pity on them, refer them to a mental clinic and hope their mental state eventually returns to a stable normality.

i propose we start the Y! answers creationist education fund, to help wipe out stupidity and give them a second chance at being educated with a reasonable amount of brain cells.

They are contributing to evolution in their own special way. By retaining those backward beliefs they are keeping themselves isolated and closed to new ideas and possibly new gene contributions. Thus they become an isolated genetic group, which might allow them to survive a biological catastrophe that could affect the rest of the population. More likely, they will breed themselves into extinction through recessive gene expression, but there is a small chance that it might help them to survive. If they remain isolated, it also keeps them out of the larger human gene pool, which allows for the further advancement and progress of human civilization. So, evolution has made them close minded and intolerant, which should be encouraged to continue for the betterment of all mankind.

Where's this 'proof' of evolution? Even Professor Dawkins admits he cannot point to any single proof, to any missing link between plants and animals, fish & amphibians, amphibians & reptiles, reptiles & mammals, reptiles & birds, or even scale & feather, come to that.

PS I was eucated in a comprehensive school, taught ONLY the theory of evolution and, like you, thought it proved. Then I had my eyes opened by scientists who revealed the gaps and assumptions that made evolutionists have FAITH -- NOT proof -- in what they believed.

Try out th efollowing sites:

for evidence the theory of evolution is sinking under the mass of contradictory scientific evidence.

PPS
you may think it funny to say 'refer them to a mental clinic', but such was the treatment meted out by atheistic states throughout the 20th century, and even today in North Korea and China. North Korea has been accused by several human rights groups of testing nerve agents on Christians. Communist Russia killed millions of Christians in its gulags. Just a little bit of sobering fact for you.

May God bless all who will seek the truth in an unbiased way.

Your last comment to Poppy stated that evolution has been proven.
30 years ago (when I became a christian) they were saying it was proven then too.
When Darwin was on the scene it was proved then as well.
The only small point here is, that is 3 differing evolutions.
So you tell us which one is right.
It appears that every time some new evidence is found, then the whole evolution "fairy tale" has to be changed to fit the new evidence.
Now, the creation truth was told once and it has never needed to be changed because it tallied with the evidence from the beginning.
I for one am certainly NOT with you.

I don't think it's a case of laughing at them or taking pity on them, just striving to ensure that creationist teaching never gains a foothold in schools.

Whos worse, the atheist with a closed mind, or the believer with a closed mind?

Personally, they're both a stupid as the other.

That's nice, arrogance and gloating. People have the right to believe in what they want. We all have different beliefs. Why can't we all get a long? Why are people always trying to force their beliefs on others and make them like them?

We should not laugh at the creationist, who holds a different viewpoint than ours, but rather we should show how much better we are by blasting them with a bunch of crap.

Good idea.

Nah, if somebody wants to believe in creationism, flat earth, or any other theory that's up to them.

I'll start worrying when they want to kick my head in because I don't think they are right.
