No not really. Fries are most often dipped in Ketchup. The way we got potato chips is from french fries. Many years ago there was man that sent his fries back because they were to thick and and undercooked. So the cook to be an *** shaved a potato and cooked them crisp.. The customer liked them and it became a thing.

No, not at all. That is how new foods are made. I mean, how do you think the hot dog was invented? Probably some guy who cut some meat into a long shape and threw it in a bun. So maybe in 100 years everybody will put potatoe chips in ketchup. Who knows?

Absolutely NOT!! lol I think its fun. They do make potato chips in ketchup flavor! They also had some doritos here for a while in burger flavor also. All I could taste was ketchup, when I tried them. (But I dislike ketchup so...) I have a 5 year old that will only eat food with ketchup on it. Noodles, meat, rice, vegtables, EVERYTHING!!! To each his own I say!!
Theres my answer. Have a great day!

People dip hashbrowns and french fries in ketchup, so why not potato chips?

God bless!

what's the difference between chips in the states(skinny thin cut) and chips in England (thick cut fries)?

Ketchup on potatoes should even work on a baked potato.

I wouldn't do it, but I like no-fat ranch on fries and English chips.

It's a preference, don't worry about it. Some people like cold spaghetti sandwiches. YIKES!

Nope.
Mustard is good too, but Red Hot (hot sauce) is the absolute best. Just get a bag of regular lays potato chips open the bag and dash some red hot into the bag, along with a small amount of mustard, close and shake.... Mmmmm

No way! Ketchup is good for dip.
When I was a kid I used to like making a sandwich out of pure ketchup, it's pretty sweet and tasty.
