I believe in god but bad things always happen to me. I've grew up in a bad home, I've never seen my dad. I just lost my job and I don't want to leave my home. I go to school and do everything right. I just need help. can some one help me? please?

God loves you. He loves you more than anything, and He has not put you on this Earth to suffer, but to do great things. When things go wrong, and they always seem to some time or another, the most important thing is to keep your eyes on God. I know to a lot of people that sounds really stupid, but I don't know how to say it in a way that is not cliche.

I mean, there are so many things that seem important in this world, so many little and big issues that we all worry over every day, but I can promise you that God has got your back on these. If you believe in Him, He will relieve your pain, He will lift your spirit up and take away the scars of not having your dad or anything else.
Pray just to talk to Him, He loves you. Read the Bible, just open it to the Gospels, I suggest John. Don't worry about getting through a lot of it, don't worry about the difficult language, take it slow. Remember it was written as a letter of love directly to His children. If you can get yourself to just read one scripture a day, I can help so much.

I won't tell you things will get better because I have no way of knowing what God has planned for you. God doesn't judge us on how we do day to day. If we a saved and we just look to Him and try, we are good. Don't forget that your mistakes as a christian have nothing to do with the bad in your life.

These ups and downs are normal, and He has promised us to make good out of every bad. If we watch we can see Him strengthen us, change us, and give us opportunities that we never thought we could have. Some of my darkest moments of poverty and fear have been some of the gifts God have given me to spread the news, to comfort others that happened to need what I could give, and to learn lessons that have given me strength and hope since then.

Even when I seemed to have wondered far away from Him, He held on and gave me opportunity to shine.
Work hard in school, and live life well, but remember to look for what you can do, and what God is doing for you. the rest will come. It always does. God Bless you.

No one knows what God's purpose is for you or anyone else, maybe things are this way for a reason. God is not Santa. Everyone I know has problems, and most people are trying their best just like you. I bet if you think about it there is a lot you have to be greatful for. At the end of the day what determines whether you are happy or not or whether things are going well or not is your own perspective. It's a little bizarre but if you think about it, the more self-centered you are the more you will disappointed with. Be happy with what youv'e got, and try to help other people. If your focus in life is helping others you will never be dissapointed.

Sorry you have had it so rough. But just because you believe in God does not mean that bad things will not happen to you. A great example of this is Job in the bible. He was very wealthy and was a very Godly man. One day he lost everything, even his family and health, I mean everything. He continued to be faithful and everything was restored to him. My point is, keep your head up and keep pushing forward. It will work out in time. Take care!

Just believe in yourself. There will be rough times. hey move on to the next if that one went wrong, eventually something will come out right. Never say "I can't" because everything is possible here. And never stop believing in God! He is the greatest.

It sounds like hard times. Finding another job should be your motivation right now. Do what you need to do to survive and you'll be ok. Take it one step at a time and don't dwell on what your father did or didn't do for you. Most importantly, stay in school, thats the key to having what you want when your older. Look out for yourself, stay strong.

Life is rough amd challenging, you just have to do the best you can. God will test you. Try to hang in there. To toughen yourself up spiritually, pray/meditate, do mind-body exercises, eat healthy, don't overindulge, and look for inspiration, to find all possible opportunities , people, or resources, that can make your life work better. Fight hard spiritually, because all other options will work less well.

there is a reason for everything and everything can be looked at as a test from God - bad things happen and you can not control that but what you can control is your response to those bad things - are you going to let bad things make you a bad person or are you going to learn from them and act out of love to become a child of God by accepting Christ as your savior and do what He wants us to do

My brother and I grew up dirt poor, and our parent fought over everything; yet we BOTH had stable careers and marriages.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!!!

Those who suffer on this earth have the "blessing" of fuller appreciating the perfect heaven where we will spend eternity.

If you are "spoiled" on earth, God's prohibition on evils and sins in heaven may seem as fully perfect as it will to those who were hurt by evil, but Father knows best!!!

If life seems fun on this sin-cursed earth, heaven will not be as fully marvelous as it is to those who found this life "hell on earth".

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
