i can definitely say it changed my life, and just some interesting information...
in 1999 they did a study. they took two groups of women who cant get pregnant. They made complete strangers from all over the world pray for the first group, and made sure no one was praying for anyone in the second group to get pregnant. i cant remember the exact figure, but a significant number of the women who were prayed for became pregnant while almost none of the other group became pregnant.

Praying is highly ineffective. Since billions of people each day pray, and maybe 1% of these prayers ever are answered, then we can assume two things. Either god is only listening to 1% of christians. Or...more logically, statistically 1% of prayers would have to come true, because the probablitly of the outcome of the prayer is low, but likely.

i love it when people say praying has been studied - come on do you think God doesn't know what you are doing and do you think He is going to change His answer b/c you are "studying" Him
Pray in His will and you will get an answer if you are a child of God - there are only 3 answers you will get
No, Yes and Wait - that is an absolute certainty for the child of God and if you are listening and continue to pray you will know what His answer is
God Bless

You can't pray and expect things to happen over night. You can't pray and expect God to help you win the lottery. You can't ONLY pray when things are going bad and expect results. Prayer is like a good relationship commitment and faith is the key.

There is great power in pray. I have witnessed and seen how power in pray has worked in my very own life.

As effective as any other woo - the placebo effect may kick in, but other than that, it's just as likely as if you didn't pray.
