Did you think that they did, when you were younger (or perhaps still do)? Doesn't it seem like they should grow on trees...I mean, they look like little palm trees. Is this a solid case AGAINST Intelligent Design. I mean, if I were God, I certainly would make them grow on trees.

I TOTALLY spend my days contemplating pineapples. I really can't think of anything deeper....

I am really concerned that "if I were God" the best you could come up with would be "oh I know, why not put a great big solid fruit high up in a tree, so when someone i don't like walks under it - pop - I will make it fall on their heads".

Instead of all that, how about a bit of world peace, good will and an end poverty?

I LOVE the fact that the do not grow on trees! I think you would too if you saw the short green bushes of pineapple plants in Hawaii grown in the red, iron rich soil. Beauty at it's best! It's also more convenient to grow them on your own! I thank God for the originality I find everyday in life!

I wired fourteen pineapples to a tree, to the boughs of the tree, in front of our house, and now I am at peace.
I finished the project at six thirty last evening. I am now content and joyous, and it is sublime somewhat.

They grow from bromliads. Does not bother me. I wonder if it bothers some people that an almond is not a nut but instead it is the inside of a seed.

They should grow on apple trees and pine trees. That would be proof of god.

Anything that would hurt while falling should grow from the ground up. Coconuts for example...
