in buddism, where do you go after death?

In Buddhism, there is no real "you" to speak of, where could you go?

From my understanding you go back into the Universe and depending on your 'karma' you would be 'reincarnated' to suit the 'karma' you have in this life. The big part of that is the idea that 'you', 'I' and 'we' are only illustions. Think of it like we are all waves in the ocean.
I'm still pretty new to Buddhism and in fact I've been reading a bit more about Zen which focus' more on this present moment.

In this life all is transitory and illusion, the result of conditioned states. Accepting this, it is not where you go after death that matters so much as where you have been already, in previous incarnations.

i am not too familiar with buddism but i think it follows the reincarantion path not certain though. Hope this helps. :)
