Okay, I'm 15 years old and I live in the state of Minnesota. Does any one know of a place where I can get my tongue pierced without parents permission. Also I would want a place that was cheap. So if you know of any places can you please give me the address, name and number to it. Also I don't want anyone's criticism if I want to do this to my body then let me do so.

MOST STATES REQUIRE YOU TO BE 18 UNLESS YOU HAVE PARENTAL CONSENT... ITS NOT A MATTER OF WHICH PLACE WILL DO IT, ITS A MATTER OF STATE LAWS....

I would raise my eyebrows in suspiscion at a piercer who worked on a 15 year old tongue even WITH parents permission. Some one who would do this is obviously not considering how your mouth may change as you grow. Boys grow an enormous amount between 15 and 18 and this can change the shape of your mouth and leave your piercing misplaced. A piercing in the wrong place can destroy your teeth and gums. This is not a risk worth taking.

If you found a place that would pierce you at 15 WITHOUT a parent's permission you should run screaming out of the shop. This establishment obviously doesn't care about your future health or the state laws. What makes you think they care about protecting clients from bloodborne pathogens like Hep C or AIDS. And what on Earth would make you trust them to do the piercing correctly???

Getting a cheap piercing is almost alllways a bad idea. Unless you are in a college town where a shop performs a hundred piercings a day, then it is going to cost a shop about 15 dollars to pierce you . This is the cost to the shop of buying the materials and cleaning the supplies. Plus the time used to do all of this and actually pierce you. That is why good piercings with sterile, quality materials cost around 40-50 dollars. You are paying for the cost of the shop being able to pierce safely.

A place that doesnt have to clean tools, reuses needles, and uses cheap jewlery can charge you less. They can also give you one of a multitude of serious (or fatal) infections, pierce you incorrectly, and you can end up allergic to the jewlery used and have a whole new host of problems.

Tongue rings can be prone to enough problems. You need a piercer who is going to respect your body enough to pierce you safely with quality materials. Any piercer like this is going to suggest you wait until you are at least 17 and still require parental consent.

Keep yourself safe and wait until your body is grown enough to get a tongue ring in the right position for your adult mouth. When you do get pierced, go to someone with a fantastic reputation. You only have to spend the 40 dollars once if you go to someone who is going to do it well and you take care of it. Otherwise you will end up spending more than that getting it fixed later.

first of all..you have to be 18 in order to get it alone. i'm sure in every state.
you're 15 and really shouldn't be piercing your tongue.
think about it...why do you really want it?
i almost got mine done. and not for sexual reasons.
the only way you can pierce it is if you do it yourself or you go to some sleazy place that doesn't care.

It's illegal to do it, and your parents can legally take action against them if they do. Just wait a few years. You'll live.
