It's sheer stupidity to bash people just because of their beliefs. To those who call themselves Christians: Jesus' harshest criticisms were reserved for those in the CHURCH. Read your Bible. Quit getting hacked off just because someone has a different opinion than they do. Back up your claims with a little logic, because no Athiest is going to take pure scripture as a valid argument. They don't believe in it.

properly initially, in terms of the place the genus Homo began, that is East Africa. South Africa is the positioning of a genetic bottleneck that H. sapiens went with the aid of lots later. Regardless, there is not any reason to sense undesirable approximately asserting some thing it is actual only because of the fact others are ignorant approximately it. you are able to finally end up being shocked, because of the fact maximum religions and non secular human beings have moved previous sticking their hands of their ears whilst it incorporates evolution. might you apart from mght faux to no longer understand the earth exchange into older than 6,000 years if it got here up? Edit: after analyzing a number of the solutions, according to threat i'm off. maximum of my religious friends understand and settle for evolution, yet people who don't understand extra ideal than to purpose and debate me on it because of the fact i'm an evolutionary biologist. So in case you do no longer sense like arguing for hours with somebody who isn't listening then according to threat it quite is best to no longer. Regardless, the genetic bottleneck in South Africa isn't in all likelihood debatable till the guy arguing with you thinks we ought to continually stop employing DNA to convict rapists, having reported that neither is evolution so...

Once you realize that Atheism is actually a religion you realize that you are in the right place. Since the existence of God cannot be proved nor disproved to accept that God does exist is, of course a belief. However, the same is true if one accepts that he does not. Absent proof all that is left is belief. Since Atheism has a belief at its core and a philosophy based on that core belief it is, in reality, a secular religion.
I have no problem with Atheism except that they keep trying to shove their religious beliefs down everyone else's throat. In fact, a pretty good case can be made proving that the Atheists are trying to force America to accept Atheism as the official State Religion.

Evolution has been tested and meets all observable predictions.
Creation cannot be tested or measured, except by sheer belief, at the same time discrediting science, since what humans now know far exceedsd the small amount know by the primitives who wrote the bible.
edit:
Those who say atheism is a religion because no proof of God's existance means belief, does that mean we all believe in the invisible pink unicorn since you cannot disprove it?
THE BURDEN LIES TO PROVE SOMETHING, NOT TO DISPROVE SOMETHING.
Otherwise PROVE that Atheism is wrong.
And please, no bible references; we know that is so full of errors to be reliable.

the religious people talk about creation much more than evolution
but if you mean start talking about evolution "like" the religious people then we wouldn't be making any sense to each other

Just like religious leaders are off-topic when they claim to have scientific knowledge.
This is why this whole debate finds its way here.

Who's not allowed and who's not on topic...? ...and I already do far to many things "like the religious people" do -- bad habits are sometimes hard to shake off, too.

Dammit no. I'm opposed to that. I'd rather talk about that pervert Moses and his one-tooth sister Myriam; and was Jesus a genius and stuff like that.
Evolution is too damn complicated for me.
