Talk down to a woman like a baby? Treats her like she's 2 years old and dosent know anything? Let's says this woman is as intelligent or more intelligent than he is yet he treats her like she is dumb. .
Then you see him treating actual dumb women normally. Also another woman who is somewhat intelligent, he treats her ok but with me he treats me like an idiot. What's the motive in that for him?

He doesn't like to feel inferior to her, so he talks down to her, to make him feel like the "big man".

He likes to be the ruler. He's wrong. Don't let him get you down, tell him how you feel. I know plenty of guys who talk like that to me. Don't take it from anyone. They treat dumb women normal because they know that there's no competition and no way that they could be a threat anyway, but with smart women they have to have SOMETHING against them, even though we all know in our hearts that women are most likely more intelligent (life wise). They can't do a thing when it comes to keeping a home and doing their own dirty work. All they do is go to a job, MAYBE, then they say that THEY DO ALL THE WORK!!
Don't let anyone get you down, no matter what!!

The only thing you can do is ask him about it. It could just be his way of talking to those he is attracted to. In my personal experience, a guy will talk down to a person because he wants her to feel like a child and then he will be able to be in control of her like he would a child or younger person. Just talk to him about it, its the only way to find out what his motives are. Good luck!

Any possibility that he's attracted to you? Some guys talk kind of stupid to women that they like.
Guess #2, he's in some way threatened by you and he's talking like that to you to undermine your confidence and rattle your nerves.
Guess #3, the guy's an idiot himself, doesn't see your value, and needs to be put in his place. Zing him on one of his comments one day, like if he says something such as, "take these to the copier and make copies" come back with something like, "oh, I thought I would use the fax machine" in one of those 'here's your sign' type of tones. Lots of sarcasm. When he says something to you about it, ask him why he talks to you like you're an idiot!

He's an idiot! Probably grew up watching his own father treating women poorly & now thinks it's his duty to carry the abusive torch. Don't let him steal your joy! No one is worth it!

This is obviously done to over compensate for his own insecurity in his lack of intellect. He does this to compensate for his feeling of inferiority. It is a simple dominance issue/self worth issue.
It also depends on what type of relationship you have with this guy. Are you his girlfriend or the friend of his girlfriend? If you are the friend then he is doing this because he feels he needs to remove you as an important person to her. This guy is very insecure and VERY jealous. I would be cautious with him because those are very dangerous traits.

men who usually talk this way to women have a messed up ego.. they just want to be and feel as if they are the ones in control in your relationship... he probably doesn't talk to anyone else that way cuz he feels the need to assert himself relationship-wise only and not in general. You need to let him know this is not okay with you and if it continues, quit wasting your time with him and find someone who will appreciate and respect you

Just got out of a relationship exactly like that, he wants to use you. You will notice that when he has sex with this woman, most times he is satifying himself and not the woman.
Find a way to get away from him, do fall for his flimpsy excuses he want you back, pls. Been there done that. Please.

You know why people* (not just men) do that. Because
they don't have any other way of coping with things that
are bothering them, etc. except to bring a person down
past their level so they feel better about themselves.

so by treating you lke a little kid , he feels as though hes the smarter one,
