I am looking to lose some weight...10 pounds or so. I am not a heavy person, just have a little extra, is weight watchers too much for me? Is weight watchers for people looking to loose more than this?

Just to clarify, I am not asking if I SHOULD go to weight watchers, I am asking if going to lose 10lbs is "okay" or if it is only for those seeking a more dramatic weight lose. So please, do not ask to see a larger picture... Thank You!

I lost 10lbs w/ WW in about 7-8 weeks. It works, and there are people of all shapes and sizes. Once you meet your goal weight, in your case 10lbs, you can keep going to meetings for free.

I have started Nutrisystem 6 weeks ago and have lost 19 pounds. They have no start up fees or membership fees, it's just the cost of food. You have access to dieticians, counseling, etc. whenever you need them. Their food is delicious, and no counting is necessary. My husband and I are both on it, and we plan to stay now. It's easy to fix your meals, and the cost is the same as what you buy at the grocery store. I love their program, I'm full all the time-I really never expected anything to ever be this easy! You really should try them. Weight Watcher's doesn't seem as well planned. Anyway, for me it's way to much work! Good luck with whatever you choose. It feels so awesome when the weight comes off, I feel ten years younger already!

Weight watchers will do a bit. But if you can spend 1 hour daily its very easy to loose. Just visit http://looseyourweight.info to learn about it.

Alyss - Don't go to the trouble of buying Weight Watchers food. Instead try cutting your portions by 1/3 at each meal.
