I too cannot wait to see God's judgment on this country and those of us Christians who support it.

No country promotes homosexuality in fact that's bizarre suggestion and could only come from a "fundie". It's also a tremendous turn off to see quotes from the Bible in a post.
What IS the case is that most of the countries of the civilised world have legislation in place outlawing discrimination based on, amongst other things (such as sex, disability, etc) sexuality and most also make hate crime illegal in itself. That is only normal and a huge step forward compared to how things were before.
And further more, most countries of the world, perhaps with the exception of the USA (persistant refusal to sign the Kyoto Treaty), are very serious indeed about doing something for the environment. Even traditional polluters like China are beginning to wake up to it.
So please, get your facts right or is that too much to ask of a fundie?

I don't know anyone who promotes homosexuality, though in the past and probably now they have to fight for their rights. There are gay pride marches and festivals in quite a few countries, but that's just celebrating who they are rather than promoting anything.
I'm sure they look forward to the day when their sexuality is not an issue, but comparing it with mating with animals is abit childish and you obviously still have issues with it. Were you bullied by a homosexual at some point?

Comparing Homosexuality & Zoophilia (or bestiality), has to be the most ridiculus thing I have ever heard.
Explain to me how there will ever be two "willing" paticpants in a man/animal relationship.
How does the animal give consent?
You can't honestly believe that raping a defenceless animal is comparitive to two consenting people having relations.
Please get help for yourself, ... you sad, sad person.
As a side note - I believe you are talking about how the topic of homosexuality is brought up in the 'media' more often then topics such as enviromental concerns or the homeless.
Which may be the only valid point i can try to strain out of that mess you wrote.

Davinci, your words reveal your prejudice. Why are you so eager to see man/beast marriage? Why too would you want to see God's judgement on earth?
Clearly you have never been the victim of terror, but I assure you the 'judgement' which I know you mean the 'wrath' of God is nothing to be desired....ask many ordinary Iraqi families that fell victim to somebody else's war. Ask the survivors of 9/11 that witnessed the tragedy. And both cases were just the wrath of man.
I assure you that God's wrath, according to your own belief, is against sin. You may not be guilty of the 'sin' of homosexuality...as so many fellow church members and pastors and priests have, whether caught or not, (and so many these days are caught) whether in deed or in thought....but God's wrath is not case sensitive....acording to the bible.
He is just as 'angry' at liars as at homosexuals....according to your own beliefs.
So stop thinking about other people's issues and let Christ cause you to have peace and goodwill to all men....
Christmas should remind you that that is why He came....according to your beliefs. "Peace on earth and goodwill to all men."
"All men" and women are sinners, some sinners are homosexuals....prostitutes.....paedophiles.....but you never can tell how God's love can turn a sinner into a saint.
So stop spending your time condemning sinners and try praying for their salvation. You may just escape falling into sin yourself and then having to deal with the judgement of the God that you believe in.
By the way, since we all have violated the earth's atmosphere in a manner much more damaging than anal penetration violates the human body (whether male or female) none of us may escape the 'wrath of God' in our time.
So perhaps also you should continue to think positively about environmental concerns without being distracted by the prejudices of your faith community.

By nations I take it you mean governments. It is because they have finally woken up to the fact that there have always been a percentage of people that were homosexual and they had to lead hidden lives. There are still a percentage of people who are homosexual and now they can just get on with their lives without fear. They have a right to be treated just like everyone else. Pity the child you ever have if they turn out to be homosexual or lesbian. It can happen, even to you. If it's the sexual side of their lives that bother you, just don't think about it, I don't. In fact, I don't think about anybody else's either.

First, homosexuality has NOTHING to do with bestiality. You say, and I quote: "homosexuality is a private issue". Yes, it is. That is the point. The government, churches, etc. have NO business getting involved. What two consenting adults choose to do is NO ONES business. Marriage is a legal contract between two people. Period. If your particular church is against gay marriage, then they don't have to perform the ceremony or ritual etc. But why is it such a problem for two people who love each other and want to make that commitment to each other to get LEGAL recognition and protection? And please don't give me that "sanctity of marriage" crap. Marriage will only be "sanctified" when ALL people who love each other are able to be legally married. My marriage to my husband is in no way less sanctified by a gay couple enjoying the same legal recognition and protection.

because of that. homosexuality is a private issue. (its not promoting homosexuality, its promoting the persons right to love another of the same gender.)
why are people so concerned about 2 consenting adults that love each other, simply because they are the same gender?
your missing the point obviously. if you compare sex with animals to sex with another human. first off - humans are of the same species. second off, humans (homosexuals) do it with both parties consenting to it. (otherwise its rape and its wrong.)
now can u get the animals consent?
and as much as i agree with the disabled homeless, they need to fix the system. how many people are "disabled" simply because they way more then 275 lbs? i know plenty.
it should be a combined effort by everyone to take care of public problems. that is pollution, homelessness, and so forth. it should be governments effort to protect the rights of the people within the nation.

I must have missed the State of the Nation when George Bush said "Go forth and touch those of your gender!"
They don't promote homosexuality they allow it, which is fine. As for the Environment the only countries that don't help out a lot are like the US, Japan, China...AKA all the countries that aren't in a terrible recession right now.
And remember since you quoted your book, "Let he who hath no sin cast the first stone." You prematurely threw your stone...

Fair dos, that God fella is an evil sod.
Take your homophobia and get back to the 1st century where your views belong.
There is homosexuality in 100s of animal species.
Homosexuality is natural. It is religion that is unnatural.
Why do you think sexual abuse of children is proportionately higher amongst clergymen than the general population?
